How did you know you wanted to be a therapist?

I have always been interested in human cognition and emotion. My education increased my awareness towards different socio-cultural constructs that exists within our society and the lack of support in mental health available in our country. I have therefore wanted to be a part and contribute to the mental health community and have strived to be a therapist ever since.
