How did you know you wanted to be a therapist?

I decided to be a therapist at the age of 13 years when I happened to meet a number of people who needed support for various psychological concerns and found there was limited help available for them. There was also a poor level of advocacy surrounding mental health in schools and outside. I wanted to try and change that.
