How did you know you wanted to be a therapist?

I wanted to what is the meaning of our existence as human beings. I know it sound as cliched but I was a keen observer since childhood and humans were interesting in so many ways. I had to figure out an answer. Empathy and Love is my core. I have to respond when someone is in pain. I always say I had no other choice than being in a helping profession.
